SPECIALIZED RECOVERY SERVICE RECOVERY MANAGER DEPARTMENT LEAD-(FT)
DESCRIPTION:
The Department Lead position will include but not limited to helping SRS/OHCW Supervisors and fellow Recovery Managers within the department. This position will allow the staff member to work hybrid as needed pending department and staff needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current RN, LSW or LISW licensure in the State of Ohio, OR hold at least a bachelor’s degree in social work, counselling, psychology or a related field and have the following qualifications:
• At least one year paid clinical experience working with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions.
• A minimum of three years post degree experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) or have a minimum of one year post degree experience working with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions.
· Demonstrates Leadership qualities.
· Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the appropriate support according to the scope of program responsibilities.
· Actions demonstrate the genuine interest in the Mission of Area Agency on Aging 3.
· Having the ability to adapt to changing job duties, being flexible and organized, the ability to problem solve while maintaining good time management skills.
· Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Guiding Care etc.
· Must have a valid driver's license, access to an automobile, and automobile insurance meeting the minimum requirements of state law.
· Final candidate must agree to a BCII Criminal Records Check, which includes fingerprinting and pre-employment Drug Screen at the expense of PSA 3 Agency on Aging, Inc.
· Ability to represent AAA3 in a professional manner in meetings with individuals, providers, and other groups.
· It is the sole responsibility of the employee to keep up with all required licensure, including continued licensure renewals throughout your employment with Area Agency on Aging 3.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Will manage a case load as assigned.
· Completes home visits and contacts both as required and as needed to assess program eligibility, ongoing service eligibility and appropriateness of care.
· Provide information on community services and agency services which will address individual’s needs to include making referrals as needed.
· Attend in-person visits that may require 2 staff members to be present.
· Participate in state hearings as needed.
· Mentor department staff to include providing oversight and guidance for the RM’s caseloads, their individual comprehensive goals, and objectives.
· Assisting supervisor with documentation oversight and chart audits as needed.
· Collaborate with Staff Development team to maintain and update training materials as needed.
· Assist with completion of departmental reports and tracking sheets as needed.
· Participate with monthly staff 1 on 1 meetings as needed with Supervisor oversight.
· Provide backup assistance to Supervisor for vacation time to include extended sick leave if applicable with VP of Homecare Programs oversight.
· This position is directly responsible to the SRS Supervisor.
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by the SRS Supervisor/ Vice President of Program Operations/Chief Operations Officer/Chief Executive Officer.
· Adheres to HIPAA regulations.
